Farewell Message from GM Thomas Knoop

 

Dear Members, Partners, and Friends of the Chamber,

 

I am writing to share that I will be concluding my assignment as General Manager of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce Shanghai by the end of November. I am moving on to refocus my full attention on my own businesses.

 

It has been a great privilege to lead the Chamber and serve the Benelux-China business community. I am proud of the progress we made together. During my time as GM, we were able to double our membership community, welcoming a wave of new companies and partners, achieve over 100% revenue growth, and fundamentally diversify the revenue streams to a balanced 30/30/30 model (members, sponsorships, and services), ensuring greater financial stability.

 

I want to express my deepest gratitude to my dedicated team, their talent and hard work were the true engine behind these outstanding results, and I am honored to have worked alongside them.  

 

I am also very grateful for the valuable connections I was able to build and for the opportunity to support so many inspiring businesses.

 

I wish the Chamber and its members continued success and look forward to seeing it thrive in the years to come.
